| Trekking in Nepal: |
|
Trekking in Nepal is a unique and unforgettable. Trekking in Nepal means walking along the pristine forest of juniper and rhododendron through picturesque small mountain villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups and meeting with the friendliest local people, traversing through isolated hamlets, following the scenic river banks, enchanting valleys, rocky gorges, terraced fields viewing mountain peaks, graceful waterfalls, watching variety of vegetations and wild animals, visiting monasteries and temples and breathtaking landscapes. Eight highest mountains in the world are in Nepal . You can walk from the tropical lowlands to alpine meadows and glacial moraines while in the spring Nepal 's brilliant rhododendrons will be in bloom and you may see rare species of birds.
Trekking in Nepal can be as long as 2 months or as short as 2 days. It can be remote with few people, local or tourists, or very sociable along the main trails with plenty of tea houses and facilities. There are suitable trails for the super fit and for those of you who prefer a gentler ramble. Do not think the Himalayas is only suitable for the hard and rugged as there are other trails suitable for those amateur trekkers who have seldom gained the experience of the mountains in their lives.

| Peak Climbing |
|
There are several trekking peaks open for alpine climbing under Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The climbing of these peaks are controlled under the rules & regulations conducted by the association.
The Trekking Peaks of Nepal gives hobby-climbers an opportunity to tackle a high Himalayan peak without having to organize a major expedition. Although these peaks are lower than their more famous cousins - the 8000-meter peaks - many of the climbs are no less demanding and adventurous in nature. By Himalayan standards these are considered minor peaks, but in fact some of them are relatively challenging snow and Ice climbing of high standard.
33 peaks of Nepal 's have been designated as ' Trekking Peaks '. NMA issues permissions for expeditions to these with very simple formalities. NMA was founded in 1973 with the objectives of promoting mountaineering activities in the Nepal Himalaya, safeguarding the interests of Nepalese involved in expeditions by upgrading their professional and mountaineering skills, popularizing mountaineering activities among Nepalese students and youths, and creating awareness, both at national and international levels, of the need to preserve the beauty of the Himalaya for future generations. Some Trekking Peaks are easy 'walk ups', but others are technical and can sometimes be dangerous. In general a team of guides, porters, kitchen crews and both kitchen and camping gear are necessary to undertake expeditions to these peaks.

| Paragliding & Mountain Flight |
|
Mountain flight is a much easier way to see the Nepali Himalayan peaks. People unable to make a trekking trip due to time or physical fitness, can experience breath-taking closer panorama of the Himalayan Ranges with the Mountain Flights. Most flights are in mornings and operate at all times except in the monsoon seasons of June and July. Air planes fly along the Himalayan range and also beyond for passengers to get a good view of the Himalayan range. The flight takes you within camera range of some of the highest peaks in the world, and cruising this close to the awe-inspiring massifs of rock and ice is an out-of-this world experience. All the domestic airlines of Nepal offer various forms of mountain flights. The flight is an altogether different feeling as one comes face to face with the worlds tallest and most enigmatic of Mountains.
Paragliding in this Himalayan country can be a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for the adventure-seekers. You can experience unparalleled scenic grandeur as you share airspace with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, kites, while floating over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, with a fantastic view of the majestic Himalayas.
Gliding is a weather dependent sport and the flying season in Nepal commences from November through February, the best months being November and December. By virtue of its latitude and monsoonal climate, the tree line in Nepal is at an incredible 3,900 m above sea level. With conditions milder than summer alpine, these are excellent and constant atmospherics.
There are various deals for the paragliding enthusiast as well as those checking this sport out for the first time. There is a three-day introductory course for beginners, as well as tandem flights (where you fly with an instructor) for the inexperienced or less brave. At 6000 ft, you sit back in your seat as your qualified pilot takes you on an unforgettable journey. The take-off point for these flights is Sarankot (1592 m), which offers prime views of Phewa Tal and the mountains at sunrise and sunset (provided the skies are clear); the landing is by the lake.
